The Root of It All

KEWORLD was officially launched in April 2021, but its foundation was laid much earlier. I’m Eliejah H., the creative force behind KEWORLD—a brand built on detail, design, and daring originality. Made in Atlanta, Georgia, I’ve always believed that creativity is the most powerful form of expression.

Rough Beginnings

I was born in a small area called Portland, Oregon, though I remember little of it. My family moved to Atlanta when I was just 12 months old, searching for a better life. That decision meant leaving much of our extended family behind. We didn’t have much support—and with a single mom raising four kids, survival was the mission. We moved frequently, sometimes getting evicted, doing whatever it took to keep going.

My mom’s passion and drive to give us a life she never had became a source of strength and inspiration for me. During these hard times, I often used TV as an escape. Shows like Dragon Ball Z and Naruto sparked something inside me—a hidden creative talent that soon became my obsession. I began drawing constantly—on the back of school assignments, in notebooks, anywhere I could. That hobby became the foundation of my creative mindset. It gave me the ability to bring my imagination to life.

The Spark

Growing up without a father was one of the hardest parts of my journey. As the oldest boy, I had to take on responsibilities others didn’t understand. I had to learn things on my own—like teaching myself how to ride a bike. Those moments, though small, built my confidence and self-reliance. People naturally gravitated toward me, and forming connections became easy.

Middle school brought new challenges. We moved again—new school, new people, new struggles. I lost my old friends and had to adapt. That’s when I met JaQuan H.—my first real friend in that new environment. He introduced me to fashion, a world I hadn’t paid attention to before. His style and business mindset planted the seed that would eventually grow into KEWORLD.

The Explosion of Creativity

My first taste of entrepreneurship came through a website called Redbubble, where I uploaded digital art and sold it on products. Using the school-issued iPad, I began making small profits. That moment woke up the entrepreneur in me.

Over the years, I experimented with many creative paths—art, animation, graphic design, video editing. Each skill added to the toolkit I would later use to build my brand. By the end of high school, I had started content creation and quickly grew a large following. People began asking when I would launch my own merch. At first, I didn’t know much about fashion—but I knew I wanted to do more than just slap a logo on a hoodie.

I hated how so many brands lacked originality. So I took it into my own hands. I started customizing hoodies with my sister’s old sewing machine and posted the results online. One of those posts blew up overnight—over a million views and thousands of comments, including some from creators I admired. That wave of support pushed me to finally create KEWORLD.

I had no clue how to make a website or ship products, but I promised myself I wouldn’t let the opportunity pass me by.

New Level, Newer Challenges

Once I got the basics down, my early drops sold out quickly. Eventually, demand outgrew my ability to hand-make every item. I needed a manufacturer—but with limited funds and no formal training, this brought a whole new level of challenges. I was working a minimum-wage job and juggling life’s curveballs.

At one point, I had to step away from the brand to focus on my family and mental health. That pause caused me to lose momentum, but in the long run, it gave me time to reflect and learn what it really takes to run a brand.

More Than Just a Brand

KEWORLD is more than a way to spread my artwork—it’s a movement. I want this brand to inspire people to take charge of their own lives and creativity. Not everyone has the freedom to express themselves. KEWORLD is here to help change that—to build a world where freedom and creativity are not only welcomed but encouraged.

We’re not here for the “quick buck.” We truly care about the customer experience. Whether that means taking a loss or going the extra mile, we always aim to make every customer feel valued. We don’t follow trends—we challenge them. We make what we believe in, not what sells.

The Creative Mindset

I embrace the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur. I’m driven by people who push me to think differently, and I love helping those on similar journeys. My mother remains my biggest inspiration—her spirit, resilience, and love shaped who I am. She taught me to believe not just in myself, but in the potential of others.

The Future Vision

In the coming years, we aim to build an arsenal of unique products—each with its own story. We also want to support communities that have untold stories of their own.

Our legacy will be more than clothing. We want to inspire the next generation to think beyond the norm, to embrace their creativity, and to help each other grow. If there’s ever a “right time” to chase your dream—it’s now. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Create it.
